Shipping and Handling

Some items cannot be shipped via UPS, due to size, weight and hazardous materials restrictions. Shipping and handling rates are subject to change without notice. Additional charges may apply for shipments to Alaska and Hawaii.  

We strive to ensure shipping charges are as accurate as possible, but in some cases, these charges may be calculated incorrectly on our website. We will do our best to capture these variances and address each one as they arrive.

Automatic Waterer Parts utilizes fourteen warehouses across the United States.  We do our best to ship from the warehouse nearest you to ensure speedy delivery of your product.  In some cases, you may receive your order in several packages and we will do our best to notify should this happen and provide you with all tracking information.  We welcome you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your shipment, transit times or shipping methods. 

Oversize Products

Products that exceed UPS and FedEx shipping capability will be shipped freight.  We will contact you with the most cost-effective freight quote once the order is placed.  The freight cost will be charged separately.   Need a freight quote prior to ordering? When will my order ship?

Orders that are able to ship via USPS or UPS will be shipped the same day or next business day, depending on when the order was placed. Shipping holidays excluded.  Unless noted on the order, if your product is on backorder, you will be notified and your order will ship once the product is in stock.  We strive to ship your product as quickly and as efficiently as possible. 

Where do you ship?

At this time, we ship within the United States only.  

Normal Shipping times?

We ship from Iowa and other locations in the US.  Normal shipping time is between 2-5 days or USPS and 2-4 days for UPS.  Allow extra time during the holidays or for natural disasters.   

What if my package is delayed by the shipping service?

Expect shipping delays during the holidays or if a natural disaster occurs. We will do our best to help you find your delayed package. However, Automatic Waterer Parts is not responsible for shipping delays caused by the shipping companies and will not reimburse or refund shipping costs should the delay be out of our control.  Any claims for reimbursements must be filed with the shipping company.  

Damaged Packages?

Packages can become damaged during shipment for situations out of our control.  If your product was damaged in the process, please send your order number along with photos of the damaged package and product to orders@automaticwatererparts.com so a claim can be filed. 

Lost or stolen packages?

All tracking information is provided by Automatic Waterers Parts. Packages through both the Postal Service and UPS are now GPS tracked for shipping confirmation. 

Steps to follow if your package has not arrived. 

  1. Check with others who visit the property or pick up mail to ensure they haven't set the package aside.
  2. Visit with your local postal service or UPS for delivery information.

If you believe that your package was stolen, contact your local authorities. Automatic Waterer Parts is not responsible for packages once they have been delivered. Refunds or reimbursements will not be issued.

RETURN POLICY

A return authorization number is required when returning an item. All items must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase and returned in clean, saleable, original condition. Special order items are not refundable. Items returned may be subject to a restocking fee. Refunds are for the cost of the product only (shipping to and from are not included).

Please send an email to orders@automaticwatererparts.com to obtain your authorization number.

Your order may be subject to a restocking fee of 20%.

Return and Associated Shipping Costs - Shipping costs for the initial order are non-refundable.  Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded.  ANY ITEM SHOWING FREE SHIPPING - will accrue a $10 restocking fee. 

  • Any refused or returned to sender shipments will accrue a 10% restocking fee and shipping costs will not be reimbursed.  No exception. 

Definition of original condition: Most of our products are used around animals or farmland.  Original condition refers to the product as it came from the box or container that it was shipped in.  Items that have been installed or disassembled may result in no refund or partial refund as we cannot reuse or resell the products. If you have questions regarding the product's condition before you make the return, email photos to orders@automaticwatererparts.com.

Items are as shown and described.  Full refunds will not be offered if assumed other than pictured or described.  All products will be subject to the same return policy as above.  Should you have questions regarding a product, contact our staff before purchasing to ensure the product will meet your needs.

SPECIFIC ITEM RETURN POLICY

AUTOMATIC WATERERS AND PARTS, WATERING DEVICES, FEED DISHES OR PRODUCTS USED WITH ANIMALS OR LIVESTOCK - To ensure animal safety and to prevent cross-contamination, products MUST be in new, unused condition, in its original, undamaged packaging and requests must be made 30 days of initial purchase.  Please contact us should you have a defective device or warranty claims.  Products will be inspected before issuing a return.  Refunds for any used item will not be issued.

  • Improper installation, misuse, or use beyond design will not be considered or return or refund.

HEATERS - Automatic Waterer Parts, Powered by PeteCo Supply is not responsible for any damage caused by improper usage, inadequate GFCI or wiring, or usage outside of what the product is intended for. Most heaters will have a 1-year warranty and claims must be made directly to the manufacturer.  Returns requests must be made within 30 days of purchase and the product must be unused and in original packaging for return authorization.
