1. Drill a 2-3/16" diameter hole in the tank sidewall, at least 2 inches above the bottom.
2. Slide the washer onto the bulkhead fitting threads and insert the fitting from inside the tank outward.
3. Secure the flange nut on the outside, tightening counter-clockwise.
4. Insert the plug into the fitting from the outside and tighten clockwise.
