The Pride of the Farm VP223K valve is the next generation valve which replaces the VP1 valve series. The VP223K is an ideal valve for high pressure situations. The Pride of the Farm valve and provides simplicity with few moving parts and has the following features.
The VP223K has a 1/8" diameter orifice for high pressure.
- Greater flow rate due to the plunger traveling a longer distance
- Greater tolerance to operation in dirty conditions
- No diaphragm, cam link or power link which means fewer maintenance items.
Easily replaces the VP1 valve and designed with fewer parts to create increased water flow.
NOTE: The fully assembled valve part numbers are VP221, VP223, VP224, VP226, VP227. The last 2 numbers on VP2 match up with the VP1 valve. If your drinker originally took the VP124, order a VP224, etc.
Valve hook up suggestions for better service
- Flush lines thoroughly to remove all foreign material
- DURAPRIDE Valve should not be subjected to excessive tool pressures at any time
- Hold inlet pipe securely while connecting to water supply line
- Knurled ring o valve to be hand tightened only. When replacing valve base to pip fittings- use Teflon tape or pipe seal, hand tighten plus one half turn with 1" socket of box end wrench.
