Energy-Free Requirements:
- Thrifty King fountains can operate energy-free if the following conditions are met:
- At least 10 animals use it as their sole water source.
- A windproof seal exists between the concrete platform and the base of the unit.
- Water seal grooves are filled with liquid for a tight seal.
- Supply water temperature is 42°F or higher.
